SHIPPING AND HANDLING POLICY
Shipping Rates and Cost
All shipping costs will automatically calculate when the order is placed. Cost of shipping will differ with every shipping due to difference in weight and distance. Cost will also vary if expedited shipping is needed and it can differ depending on the Carrier that is chosen. Customer may want to add insurance to the shipment. Depending on the order, stock items an ship out from our Montrose, CA location between 1-2 days, custom orders will be determined on size, supply, and urgency. Customer is responsible for all shipping cost incurred by placing their order.
Methods of Shipping Used
We currently ship out orders using 3 couriers:
USPS can take anywhere between 2-6 days depending on the address. Charges are calculated on weight of shipment. They offer Overnight, Priority (2-3 days), and First-Class Mail. It is the lowest cost option. We will only use USPS to ship Priority and expedited shipping because First Class does not have a tracking number, but they are guaranteed shipping times.
UPS offer ground shipping and expedited shipping. Ground takes approximately 2-6 days and then you can ship using their overnight, 2nd and 3rd day shipping. Their expedited shipping is guaranteed. If they don’t arrive on the day expected, you can get a refund on shipping costs.
FedEx offers a ground shipping which can take 2-6 days depending on distance and they also have expedited shipping. Overnight, 2nd, and 3 day shipping. The ground shipping isn’t guaranteed, but their expedited is.
Keep in mind with any expedited shipping, the cost is calculated differently. The size of the box plus the weight will be used to calculate cost which they call dimensional weight. The formula to use is L*W*H/ 166. Example if the weight of the box is 5lbs, but the box is L- 6″ x W-8″ x H-7″/166 which equals to 2.02lbs. That means you will pay for 5lbs. However, if the box is 10x10x10″ is now 6.02lbs. You now have to pay for 6lbs based on dimensional weight.
This is a zone map for shipping in the United States, it is just an estimation of how long it takes to receive a ground shipment.
International Shipping
We can ship anywhere the world; However international shipping costs are much higher in cost. Any international shipments will be processed directly through our office. If there are any duties, taxes, or VAT costs incurred by this shipment, we will add it to the shipping costs. Shipment times will differ depending how long it takes for customs to clear the shipment. MTM Computer Services LLC, will not be held accountable for extended shipment times due to custom clearance.
Unless it is determined that MTM Computer Services LLC is at fault for making an error, Customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. Any acceptable returns (see Returns and Refund policy for more information) will be charged a 25% restocking fee. Once a package is received by our office, well will issue the refund via your credit card minus any accumulated fees.
Missing/Lost/Damage Shipments
All shipments will require a signature which prevents shipping to go missing. Even if the carrier made mistake, they can track the package down. Lost shipments can be determined carrier error and we will send out a replacement order or can issue a refund within 3-5 business days.
Any shipments received damaged can be refused from the courier, If you do receive a damaged package, please call our office immediately and we will ship out a replacement or issue a refund. You must refuse the shipment at time of delivery. Once you sign for the shipment you are accepting it as is and there will be no recourse for any damages found later.
